We needed to free up some of the flat surfaces in our class and storage is quite limited so we came up with the idea of displaying stuff on the walls. This display features the see-through metal spice containers which hold collage materials, the less expensive metal office supply boxes (also containing collage materials) and cardboard ribbon spools. The cardboard ribbon spools were decorated by the children. (First we painted them on one side with acryllic paint, once they were dry we coated them with white glue and let the kids place collage pieces on them). Then we glued magnets on the back side of the ribbon spools and they were ready to stick up. At one point the containers and spools were neatly lined up but not anymore, its a working display and we grab things down to use in the class often.
